As a beautician you are concerned with the external care of customers. Depending on the client's wishes, you will perform facial treatments, remove body hair, massage, dye eyelashes and eyebrows and much more. Obviously you also give the customers advice about taking care of various skin problems. You will learn everything to give professional beauty treatments. We therefore discuss in detail how you can perform skin analyzes and draw up treatment plans. You will also learn to use different cleaning techniques and care products.
As a beautician you can work as an independent entrepreneur with your own salon, but you can also work at a wellness center, existing beauty salon or perfumery shops.

How many hours do I need to study?
Besides the lessons at school, you have an average of 10 hours of homework per week.
This includes both learning from theory and practicing for practice.
How long does this study take?
The Beautician training is a day course of 18 weeks with 1 lesson per week and is given on Monday or Thursday.
What is the content of the training?
The study program contains both theoretical and practical components and consists of, among other things, the following partial qualifications:

How do I get my diploma?
In order to obtain the Sector Diploma Beautician at MBO 3 level, recognized by ANBOS, you must obtain the previous partial qualifications.
Within the 18-week training course, you must therefore take 4 theory exams, 3 practical tests and 1 portfolio assessment.
What about stage/models?
For most modules, practice on each other. For some modules, you must register a model yourself at the school. This is in consultation.
In what languages can I follow this course?
New and as the only one in the Netherlands, this training can be followed in both Dutch and Persian.
When registering, indicate which language you wish to follow this course.
Is pre-training required?
No previous education is necessary, but it is important to us whether you have sufficient time, motivation and commitment.
Are the costs deductible?
Deductible from your income tax: In the Netherlands, both a private individual and a self-employed person can deduct the study costs in full with your tax return. There is an exempt amount of 250 euros for private individuals. Everything that concerns this amount on an annual basis can be deducted as study costs in your personal income tax return.
Does UWV pay for the course?
UWV reimburses training costs for jobseekers: As a jobseeker you can ask the UWV to reimburse your training costs. This approval is only given if your work coach is of the opinion that this is necessary to be able to find work.
What can I do after the training?
After completing the training, you can immediately start working as a beautician (as an employee or self-employed) in the Netherlands with our diploma.
After the training you can also join the ANBOS (optional). For this you have to take external exams at the Exuive exam center (not included in the tuition fee).
Is there further training?
If you have obtained the Beautician Level 3 diploma, you can continue to study for Allround Beautician Level 4. Register via the website.
